Mark Bessoudo

Hi. I work as Manager of Research for WSP’s Sustainability & Energy team in Toronto. I like to think, write, and talk about the scientific, environmental and philosophical issues we face, particularly those that relate to cities and the built environment. Sometimes I’ll have answers; often I’ll have an opinion; but what I’m most interested in is the discussion.

The name “Plato for Plumbers” represents a unification of left-brain and right-brain thinking. It stems from my belief that solutions to technical problems still require philosophical thinking. (It’s also the title of my award-winning essay featured in New Philosopher magazine.)
